It’s hard to imagine Kelly Clarkson holding back on anything, but when she sat down with her The Voice protegé, Brynn Cartelli, for a quick, three question round of “Ask Me Anything,” she took her candor to the next level.
The Q-and-A started innocently enough with Brynn asking Kelly what her three desert island discs were (Annie Lennox – Diva, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and U2 – Joshua Tree), then Kelly asking Brynn about the three foods she couldn’t live without (cookies and cream ice cream, roasted broccoli and chicken nuggets). However, when Brynn asked the talk show host what is the last thing she does before she goes to bed, the incredibly honest Kelly couldn’t lie.

“Well, Brynn, I was single for many years,” she says, smiling. “I have children and how one makes children is generally what I do before bed. That’s no lie.” As she and Brynn both collapsed into giggles, she declared, “That’s real! It’s not weird, it’s natural.”
Kelly also mentioned that she cried when she played Sao Paulo, Brazil because the crowd was so outwardly supportive.
Kelly’s daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, was picked up for a second season, however, no airdate has been announced. She will also return to season 18 of NBC’s The Voice in November, and in April, she’ll begin her Kelly Clarkson: Invincible residence at Zappo’s Theater in the Planet Hollywood Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.
She might be the busiest person in the entertainment industry.
