In case you missed it, October 11 marked International Day of the Girl, a time to celebrate women across the globe— and who better to lead a celebration for female empowerment than Kelly Clarkson?

Whole Lotta Woman

In honor of the day, Kelly Clarkson visited Today to give an incredible performance of her very own “Whole Lotta Woman,” a song dedicated to celebrating the female:

I’m a whole lotta woman // From the way I walk and toss my hips // I’m a whole lotta woman // From the sound to my voice to the gloss on my lips // I’m a whole lotta woman // Anything I see I want, I get // I’m a strong, badass chick with class and confidence

Kelly Clarkson wasn’t the only female to join in on Today’s International Day of the Girl celebration. Her fellow “Voice” coach Jennifer Hudson stopped by, along with Meghan Trainor, supermodel Karlie Kloss, Zendaya, and former first lady, Michelle Obama.

Savannah Guthrie’s 4-year-old daughter, Vale, and Hoda Kotb’s 19-month-old, Haley Joy, joined in on the fun along with Carson Daly’s daughter London, 4, Jenna Bush Hager’s daughters Mila, 5, and Poppy, 3 and Sheinelle Jones’ daughter, Clara, 5.

Kelly Clarkson was selected as Billboard’s Powerhouse for their 2017 Women in Music due to her commitment to making changes in the world of education— primarily for women.

Now, she’s partnering with Michelle Obama and her Global Girls Alliance to make sure young girls have access to the education they deserve. “An educated girl can lift up her family, her community, and her country,” she said. “That’s why I’m proud to join Michelle Obama and the Global Girls Alliance to stand up for adolescent girls’ education worldwide.”
