Kelsea Ballerini, fresh off her wedding and back from a week in paradise with husband Morgan Evans, stopped by the Bobby Bones Show to help raise money for kids and families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Kelsea opted to play a tune she’s never played before and it was a real doozy. In the best way.

Someone’s always holding up a sign,
Drawing a cross and a line.

Painting a downtown wall, with what they think.

Standing on the left or the right,

Always got to pick a side,

But why should we have to fight for what we believe,

Without being too political or critical,

I’ve got something to say,

It’s really not a riddle,

it’s really quite simple,

And even may even sound cliche,

But when it comes down to it, we’re all human

The one thing we can stand for is,
Hate less, love more.

Someone’s always going to be mean,

It’s easy to hide behind a screen,

Thinking that the hurt ain’t real,

If we can’t see,

Pointing fingers at everyone else,

so
We don’t have to blame ourselves,

For not being the change in the world that we want to see.

A little more sunshine,
A little less rain,

A little more good times,

A little less pain.

But when it comes down to it,
we’re all human

The one thing we can stand for is,

Hate less, love more.
