Kelsea Ballerini has played the Grand Ole Opry many times in her fairytale career. Despite having only released one full album, Ballerini has risen to country superstardom and played the Opry six times. She didn’t even get around to singing “Peter Pan” until her fifth appearance. As her career has progressed, so has her onstage style, from mostly black dresses to colorful rompers. But she love’s everything she’s worn on that stage.
The first time Ballerini played the Opry, she wore a dress she picked out with her mother. By show number three, she had a stylist helping to pick out her onstage looks. “I wear a lot of black [at the Opry],” she said. “It’s classic, you can’t go wrong.”
Whether at the Opry or not, Ballerini loves to wear black.

homesick, tired, and have been sitting on a delayed flight on the runway for 2 hours with a band and crew that haven't been home in over 2 weeks. trying to pass the time, I was looking through photos from the weekend and saw this one, and realized that even in these moments, I wouldn't trade anything for moments like the one In the picture. continually thankful to do what I love for a living and feel love back from it. and while I'm VERY hopeful this flight gets a move on so I can remember what my house looks like, I'm grateful for the reasons I'm on it.
But like she said, you can’t go wrong with black.
