Kelsea Ballerini Postpones Release of “Miss Me More” Video Out of Respect for California Shooting Victims

In the wake of the mass shooting that took place at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California, late Wednesday night (Nov. 7), Kelsea Ballerini is postponing the release of her new video for “Miss Me More.”

Kelsea took to her Instagram story to share her feelings about the incident and let her fans know of the postponement.

“My heart is broken for the families and friends of the victims from the tragic event last night in Thousand Oaks. My heart is broken that this keeps happening,” Kelsea wrote. “Out of respect, we are postponing the release of the MMM video.”

The Miss Me More” video was set to be released Thursday (Nov. 8) while Kelsea was in New York filming her performance with The Chainsmokers for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show to air on Dec. 2.

Wednesday night (Nov. 7) at 11:20pm 12 people, including Sheriff Sgt. Ron Helus, were gunned down by a shooter dressed in black as he entered Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks. The Bar was holding it’s weekly college country music night at the time of the shooting.

Our thoughts are with the victims of yet another senseless tragedy.
