With her new album, Unapologetically, due out Nov. 3, Kelsea Ballerini took a trek to Los Angeles to visit the set of “Ellen,” for one of several upcoming appearances to promote the new project.
This was the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee’s first appearance on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she performed the title track. “Unapologetically” was penned by Ballerini, Forest Glen Whitehead and Hillary Lindsey and tells the story of a once-in-a-lifetime romance.
“And I’m unapologetically in love / And I’m so unapologetically in love / No matter where it takes me / Even if it breaks me / I’m unapologetically all in / From the second that I started falling / And it don’t even phase me / When they call me crazy / I’m unapologetically in love / I’m unapologetically in love,” Ballerini sings in the chorus.
Ballerini’s first single from the upcoming album, “Legends,” is currently at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay. The first three singles from her debut album, The First Time, reached the No. 1 spot.
The “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer will venture to Amsterdam, Netherlands, to kick off the second leg of Lady Antebellum’s You Look Good World Tour on October 1.
