There have been many people wanting to help those affected by Hurricane Irma and Kenny Chesney is no exception.

According to CNN, two teenage boys—the Bruce brothers—were hunkering down in their house with their grandfather when Hurricane Irma came crashing through, destroying their home with everything in it.

“We were in the shower laying down against the concrete wall and five minutes later the roof just ripped off our head,” Jah-Haile recalled.

Luckily the boys–Jah-Haile Bruce and Jahbioseh Bruce— and their grandfather made it out alive, but had nothing to go back to. They were picked up by a private boat taking evacuees to St. Croix. The boys were trying to get to Philadelphia to join up with their mother. With no flights available, there seemed to be no hope. Suddenly, an anonymous donor donated his private jet to fly the boys to U.S. mainland.

That donor turned out to be Kenny Chesney. The superstar heard of the boys story and rushed to help in anyway he could.

“I kept saying, one day this is gonna be one hell of story to tell,” Jahbioseh said. Turns out, he was right.
