“Kimberly’s Simply Southern” Moving to the Cooking Channel

Looks like congratulations are in order as Kimberly Schlapman‘s award-winning cooking show is is moving to the Cooking Channel Saturday, July 18. Kimberly Schlapman, of the country music band, Little Big Town, is the hostess of the show that previously aired on Great American Country. Her first guest for the premier on the new channel will be Kix Brooks. Brett Eldredge, Billy Currington, Jewel, Lady Antebellum ‘s Hillary Scott and Kimberly’s band mates Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet will join Kimberly in the kitchen on upcoming episodes.

Her passion for making simple, home cooked recipes with her family and country singing friends back home keeps Kimberly hunting for culinary treasures when on the road. In each episode of the show, Kimberly hops off the tour bus in an effort to discover America’s best local foods, ingredients and people who share her love of tasty good food.

The award-winning cooking show “Kimberly’s Simply Southern” will be airing on the Cooking Channel beginning July 18th airing Saturdays at 1:30 pm ET/12:30 pm PT.
