While Lauren Alaina is trying to make the most of her quarantine time, she added insult to injury by breaking two of her toes.

The “Road Less Traveled” singer shared a video of herself on Instagram, getting around with a scooter and a boot. In the video, Lauren can be seen decked out in a pepperoni pizza onesie as she scoots around the island in her kitchen to the theme song, what else, “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” by Brooks and Dunn. How apropos.

Although Lauren didn’t reveal how she broke her toes, she seems to be handling the situation with a good sense of humor.

“Taking the boot scoot to a whole new level. I Brooks & Dunn went and broke two of my toes. I present to you, “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” feet. Lauren Alaina,” she wrote in the caption to accompany the video.

Before the quarantine, Lauren wrapped her first-ever headlining That Girl Was Me Tour and released her Getting Good EP, featuring the single “Ladies in the 90’s” and the title track. Lauren was set to hit the road as direct support for Blake Shelton on the Friends & Heroes Tour 2020, until quarantine hit and concerts across all genres were canceled.

During quarantine, Lauren has thrown it back to better times when she was able to meet and greet her fans and hang out with her team.

“I’ve got to HAND it to my team, they’re the best road family a girl could ask for,” she wrote. “This video has really SHOOK me. I miss them all so much. These are our handshakes we do before every show. I wonder if we’ll still want to do them after this pandemic. Lololol. I’ll start them all with a squirt of hand sanitizer I guess.”

Until then.
