Lauren Alaina Cancels Back to Back Shows “Due to Family Medical Emergency”

Lauren Alaina has had to cancel two upcoming shows this weekend — Oct. 19 in Sugar Land, Texas, and Oct. 20 in New Braunfels, Texas—where she was to perform as part of Cole Swindell’s Reason to Drink Another Tour, “due to a family emergency.”

Lauren previously cancelled shows over the summer, due to family “medical emergency.” As previously reported, Lauren’s stepfather, Sam Ramker, was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in March. Lauren’s team took to social media to share the cancellation with fans.

“Due to a family medical emergency, Lauren Alaina will not be performing at this weekend’s Reason to Drink Another Tour with Cole Swindell and Dustin Lynch. She is grateful for the outpouring of love and support from fans during this time and hopes to see you all soon—Team LA.”

Lauren is scheduled to resume the Reason to Drink Another Tour with Cole and Dustin when it hits Missoula, Montana on Oct. 25. Lauren recently released her latest single, “Ladies in the 90s,” referencing country women who paved the way.
