Lauren Alaina Brings ’90s Country To “Dancing With the Stars” Country Night

It was country night on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday night (Nov. 5) and country stars showed up in force in the ballroom to perform for the celebrities and their dance partners.

Lauren Alaina brought her current single “Ladies in the 90s” to the dance floor, performing for Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten. The couple, who have admitted having feelings for each other, wowed the crowd with a sexy samba, earning them a 29 out of 30.

Lauen, decked out in overalls for the country theme, belted out her single that praises the musical ladies of the ’90s like Deana Carter, Britney Spears, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks and more.

I just wanna feel like ladies in the 90’s / Turn the dial and find me some Strawberry Wine / So I can sing all night long, acting like I’m Britney / Come on baby, hit me just one more time, hey / I wanna feel like ladies in the 90’s / Ladies in the 90’s, hey hey hey,” she sings in the chorus.

This was Lauren’s first television appearance since she shared the news that her stepfather, Sam Ramker, passed away from cancer on Oct. 21.

My stepdad, Sam, went to heaven at one o’clock this morning. He was the purest example of how to love and live life fully. His last few hours were some of the most amazing moments I know I will ever have the privilege of witnessing,” she shared on Instagram.

Next up for Lauren, she will be vying for New Artist of the Year at the 52nd CMA Awards when it airs live on Nov. 14 on ABC.
