Watch Lauren Alaina’s Heartfelt Performance of “Doin’ Fine” on “Pickler & Ben”

Lauren Alaina stopped by they “Pickler & Ben” show Tuesday (April 24) to perform her current single “Doin’ Fine” from her sophomore album, Road Less Traveled.

The reigning ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year is basking in the glory of her two recent No. 1 songs, “Road Less Traveled” and “What Ifs” with Kane Brown.

“It has been just like a year of ugly crying for me. I worked on this album for five years. “The Road Less Traveled was one of the earlier sings that I wrote. I just knew when I wrote the song that it was special, Lauren told hosts Kellie and Ben. “The message was just really important to me. I think that was the most rewarding part of all of it, is that I got to say what I wanted to say to people. The song is about loving yourself and that’s been the hardest thing for me in my life. It’s been the biggest obstacle for me to overcome. So I felt in my soul that if no one ever heard another one of my songs—I was so proud that it was that one. That was the song that reintroduced me to the world.”

As you can see, Lauren Alain is doing just fine.

In addition, the Georgia native is gearing up to tour with Jason Aldean on the High Noon Neon Tour. The cross-country trek will kick off May 10 in Kansas City, Mo.
