In honor of the release of Shania Twain’s first album in 15 years today, Lindsay Ell headed over to “The Bobby Bones Show” to celebrate, what the show is calling, Shania Day.
It’s safe to say that most up and coming female country artists have been influenced by Shania Twain’s music in some form or fashion. The 52-year-old remains the best-selling female artist in country music history and has touched millions of young women with her anthemic songs.
Suffice it to say, Ell, who is a fellow Canadian, couldn’t pass up the opportunity to cover the singer’s first hit single from The Woman in Me album. And she pretty much nails it. If you close your eyes, Ell’s sexy vocals just might transport you back to 1995.
Twain’s album Now, which features the single “Life’s About To Get Good,” is available today.
