On the heels of announcing their upcoming The Breakers Tour with Kacey Musgraves and Midland in 2018, Little Big Town is making another show announcement.
The band was over in London performing at Royal Albert Hall, when they got the news that they would be headlining one night of the C2C festival in 2018.
Karen shared the news with their fans from the stage, surprising fans and her fellow bandmates. “I just got news in my little ear monitors. Literally, it just got worked out. It’s good news. We are going to headline at the O2 C2C,” she said as the crowd erupted in applause. “The band didn’t even know.”
LBT is the second act to be announced as headliners. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill previously announced that they would be heading to London as headliners for one of the nights of the festival.
Country to Country, known as C2C, is a multi-day country music concert that originated in the United Kingdom and has expanded to other parts of Europe including Dublin, Ireland and Glasgow, Scotland.
The three-day music event will take place March 9-11 in 2018, with more acts to be announced soon. Tickets go on sale October 2017.
The band took to Instagram to spread the word.”We shared some BIG news tonight from Royal Albert Hall… We are so excited to announce that we are headlining @C2Cfestival! See you in March!!,” they wrote in their post.
