Between the final gloomy days of winter and the growing health concerns over COVID19, it doesn’t seem as if there is a lot to smile about right now. So, big thanks go out too Luke Bryan who has just released the new music video for “One Margarita” because it’s loaded with all of the things we’re dreaming of.

Actually thanks to Luke, along with his wife, Caroline, and mom, LeClaire, who also appear in the music video and elevate the level of fun to undefinable measures. There’s also a mariachi band and everyone knows that where there’s mariachi and margaritas, there’s fun.

Filmed during Luke’s annual Crash My Playa event in Riviera Cancun, Mexico, the real scene stealer of the entire music video may be the landscape. Shot partly during Luke’s energetic evening performances at the three day music event and partly on the beautiful white beaches and turquoise waters along the coast, it can set the vacation vibe for everyone suffering from cabin fever. And if you watch closely, you may see some other familiar faces among the crowd dancing and partying with the Bryans.

Country music has a lengthy history of making great anthems for summertime and “One Margarita” is no exception. And in these days of fear and panic, a three-minute beachy break full of sunshine and song is a welcome respite from the dismal news we’re being bombarded with. Plus, we have plenty of time to learn all of the lyrics before the beaches open back up and we can all hit the coast for one margarita, two margarita, three margarita – SHOT!
