Luke Bryan may be an internationally known country singer but even his vehicles run out of gas if he forgets to fill them up. This is exactly what happened recently when Luke was in the car with his family and his wife, Caroline, shared a short video clip to her personal Instagram page where it was obvious that she was less than amused by her husband’s forgetfulness.
“I told him to get gas,” she captions the clip. “Now we’re stuck on the side of a road in the middle of July. Thanks Dad.”
The singer and his family were on the road together when his truck ran out of gas. So, he pulled over to the side of the road and filmed the conversation with his family. “Anybody want to explain what just happened?” Luke asks.
“We ran out of gas,” his sons, Bo and Tate, said in unison while his nephew Til is seated beside them. His wife looks on and shakes her head in regard to their situation.
Luke has been quite busy this year, so it’s understandable that filling his car up with gas may have slipped his mind. The singer is in the midst of his 2018 What Makes You Country Tour XL Stadium Sized and will become the first artist to headline all three of Minneapolis’ current stadiums.
In addition to his headlining tour, Luke will be opening his own restaurant in Nashville in the coming months. Called Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, the new location is set to be the only six-floor entertainment facility in Music City. The 30,000 square foot building located at 301 Broadway at 3rd Avenue will feature six levels of entertainment space with eight bars.
“When I first moved to Nashville I played several of the bars on the ionic Broadway Street,” Luke says. “I never would have dreamt that I would one day be a part of a place that could offer the same dream to others. Because of Music City and the fans all across the country, the reality of this amazing venue has become possible.”
Stars, they’re just like us.
