Luke Bryan and thousands of his closest friends will gather Monday evening in downtown Nashville for the opening of Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink restaurant.
The “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” singer stopped by the restaurant Monday afternoon to talk about the opening and what it means to him to be opening the place in Nashville.
“Thank you for being here, what an exciting day for me and my family and my friends and all the people in my world. It’s very exciting being here. I never could have imagined driving down Broadway and seeing my name in neon,” Luke told the media crowd from the main floor of his bar/restaurant.
Luke is the latest country artist to open a bar/restaurant in downtown Nashville. He shares the street with Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, John Rich’s Redneck Riviera, Alan Jackson’s AJ’s Goodtime bar, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop bar and Florida Georgia Line’s FGL House.
“We’re all having fun with this”, Luke added. “We want to accentuate the history, we don’t want to interrupt the history of Broadway, but add another element to it and add a bigger scope. I think it’s so fun. I look across the street and Blake’s bar is there and all the bars that are here. It’s all about the country music fan experience in my opinion. It’s a fun element for the tourists to come connect with some of their favorite artists.”
The 30,000 square foot building features six levels of entertainment space with eight bars, including Broadway’s only multi-level rooftop bars with sushi menu, four stages of live music and two restaurants.
Luke encourages fans to check out the down home menu that includes Hometown Pulled Pork with Kettle BBQ chips, Black & Blue Salmon Salad, Nashville Hot Chicken and Luke‘s Elk Burger with Red Dragon Cheese. Luke added that he will be trying the Elk Burger before his performance and admits that his favorite cocktail to make in the bar is an Old Fashioned.
Fans can catch Luke taking over Broadway with a free concert, welcoming fans to his 32 Bridge Food +Drink for it’s grand opening.
“We’re gonna have some fun special guests come up,” Luke said “It’s just going to be laid back and fun and a typical show of mine. We’re going to get up there and have fun.
