It’s a good night for some great country music and the CMA is happy to step up with Luke Bryan hosting CMA Best of Fest – a three-hour virtual concert featuring some of the fan’s favorite live performances from 16-years of CMA Music Festivals.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s CMA Music Festival was postponed out of an abundance of caution. But to fill that void, the CMA dug through an archive of the past 16 years of festivals to collect some of the most outstanding and pivotal moments from the iconic event.
Viewers will be treated to a retrospective that includes performances from country stars such as Trace Adkins, Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Billy Ray Cyrus, Dan + Shay, Sam Hunt, Lady A, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dwight Yoakam and Zac Brown Band.
In addition, fans will enjoy appearances fro Lzzy Hale, Joan Jett, Lil Nas X, Bobby Bones, Jim Gaffigan, Kirk Herbstreit, Peyton Manning, Lionel Richie, Rob Riggle Gwen Stefani, Michael Strahan and Rita Wilson.
Luke will also enlist the help of longtime pal Darius Rucker for a brand new performance, created just for the special.
As great as the special is sure to be, CMA Music Festival will return to downtown Nashville June 10 – 13, 2021 with a limited number of four-day passes going on sale starting September 10 at 10am CT at the CMA Fest website or by calling 1-800-CMA-FEST.
CMA Best of Fest airs Monday, July 13 at 7pm CT on ABC.
