Luke Combs Shares Lyric Video For New Single, “One Number Away”

Luke Combs has announced the release of his third single, “One Number Away,” featured on his debut album, This One’s For You.

“One Number Away,” co-written by Luke, Robert Williford, Sammy Mitchell and Steven Andre Battey, follows Luke’s previous two singles, “Hurricane” and “When It Rains It Pours,” both of which reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Today, Luke is releasing the lyric video for the song about a guy who can’t seem to get over his ex. Explaining that he’s not able to get her out of his head and wants to hear her voice again, he’s only one number away from calling her,

I’m one number away / from calling you / I said I was through / but I’m dying inside / Got my head in a mess / girl I confess / I lied when I said / I’m leaving and not coming back / Might be the whiskey or the midnight rain / But everywhere I go I see your face / in my brain dialing up everything I want to say / but I’m still one number away.” Luke sings in the chorus.

Luke will perform his third single during his headlining Don’t Tempt Me With a Good Time Tour, which was just extended with 25 new dates into 2018 and will include newcomer Ashley McBryde.
