Luke Combs, who recently made history by becoming the first artist to have his first five from his debut album hit the No. 1 spot, has a special relationship with his fans. The country singer is known to just give out tickets to fans on Twitter and sharing new music on social media to keep his fans happy.

Now the 29-year-old is giving his fans a treat by taking on a cover of the song “The Way I Talk” by fellow country singer Morgan Wallen. In the video, Luke sits in a living room with his guitar player nailing the hit song with his sultry, soulful vocals.

It sounds a little bit like my daddy / It don’t cuss around my mama / Got some words you’ve never heard / ‘Less you come from down yonder / The man upstairs gets it / So I ain’t tryna fix it / No, I can’t hide it / I don’t fight it, I just roll with it / Oh, kinda slow like the Mississippi rolls / It’s the only way I know / Man it ain’t my fault / I just live the way I talk,” he sings while decked out casually in an Appalachian State T-shirt.

This cover of Morgan’s hit song maybe have been a little payback to his pal. Morgan took to Instagram to share a video of himself covering Luke’s No. 1 hit, “She Got The Best of Me.”  So why not return the favor?

The two friends will have plenty of time to sing each others songs. Luke recently added 29 new dates to his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour that will find him on the road with Morgan Wallen, Cadillac Three and Jameson Rodgers through December.
