It happened relatively quietly, but that kept the February 21 wedding of Maddie and Tae’s Taylor Dye and her hit songwriter fiancé Josh Kerr even more intimate and personal. But still, a marriage is reason to celebrate and their day was certainly a beautiful one.
The couple was married in Nashville surrounded by family and friends. Tae was dressed in a stunning candlelight long-sleeved gown with a high neckline and dramatic open back. It appears that her lace-trimmed illusion train was detachable, and the sweep hem of her gown was swept up in a French bustle. She wore her warm brown waves in a half up/half down style with delicate tendrils framing her face.
Josh was attired in a black suit with matching black shirt, finished with a white boutonnière.
Tae and Josh have been tight-lipped regarding specifics on the wedding and honeymoon, but from photos featured on their Instagram page, the wedding was chic and sophisticated.
Josh is one of the writers on Kelsea Ballerini’s “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Dibs,” and for King and Country’s “God Only Knows.” He was also a producer on Keith Urban’s Graffiti U.
Maddie and Tae will be gearing up for the release of their new album, The Way It Feels on April 10 and a summer of touring as part of Live Nation’s 2020 Country Mega Ticket.
