Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are still a few weeks away from welcoming their baby boy if he arrives on his due date, but with both of the singers working almost up to their little one’s arrival, they’ve had to enlist some help in getting a space ready. And now, the only thing missing is that little nugget.
The mother-to-be shared photos in her Instagram stories that reveal the cozy corner that Baby Boy Hurd will call his.
Although the walls are dark, the room is warm and welcoming thanks to windows on both exterior walls that let plenty of sunshine beam in. An industrial-inspired overhead provides complete room lighting, while softer sconces bathe the changing table in a warm glow.
A light-colored upholstered rocker sits nearby for bedtime stories and lullabies, and a natural wood crib awaits the baby bird’s first nap at home.
To make the most of the room, Maren and Ryan, along with April Tomlin Interiors, added an adult-sized bed with coordinating linens in the room to keep it guest-friendly and if Mom or Dad need to be nearby at any point, they can rest comfortably as well.
Of course, there are also toys waiting for Baby Hurd’s cuddles, including a stuffed otter, sloth, llama and bunny.
Maren and Ryan are due in late March, just a couple of weeks after she performs on the main stage at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Ryan’s last day on his own Platonic Tour is March 21, and then the family hits the road together in June for Maren’s RSVP: The Tour.
