Maren Morris Sang The National Anthem Before Game 5 of the Nashville Predators’ NHL Playoff Game

-

Following in the footsteps of artists such as Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley and a whole host of country singers, Maren Morris is the latest artist to sing the national anthem during the Nashville Predators’ Stanley Cup Playoff run.

For the Predators’ Stanley Cup run in 2017, a who’s who list of country singers lined up for the anthem. Artists like Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Keith Urban, Faith Hill and more, hit the ice. As the new season takes on a life of it’s own, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and now Maren Morris have done the honors for games 1, 2 and 5.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for the Preds Friday night (April 20) during game 5. The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Predators by a score of 2-1. The series is set at 3-2 with game 6 returning to Denver. If the Preds win in Denver, they advanced. However, if they lose game 6, they return home to Nashville for the seventh and final game of the series.

Let’s go Preds!
