The Pistol Annies—Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe— were in Nashville at the historic Ryman Auditorium for one of on three performances scheduled, Thursday night (Oct. 25).
The trio wowed a passionate crowd with songs from all three of their albums, including their most recent album Interstate Gospel, due out Nov. 2. The new songs “Got My Name Changed Back,” “Interstate Gospel,” “Cheyenne” and “Sugar Daddy” were exactly what fans expect from the badass trio of women.
And in a badass move of her own, Miranda took it upon herself to take care of a disruptive fan who went to the foot of the stage, distracting both the fans and the trio. Miranda stopped the song and told the lady to go sit down. “This is our show,” she said. When the lady refused to move, security rushed to escort her out, but she still would not budge. That’s when Miranda took off her guitar, walked over to the woman, grabbed her hand and walked her out of the Ryman. Not missing a beat, Miranda high-fived Ashley and Angaleena and stepped right back into singing.
And that’s how you take matters into your own hands. The Pistol Annies have two remaining shows at NYC’s The Town Hall on November 2 and LA’s The Novo on November 7.
Here’s a tip for fans, don’t interrupt the Pistol Annies when they are performing. Just sit back, relax and we promise, you won’t be disappointed.
