There is not doubt that Miranda Lambert loves her dogs. The singer just returned home for a break from her Livin’ Like Hippies Tour and the one thing she was most excited to do, was see her “babies.”
In an social media post, the Texas native was happy to share the moment she reunited with her furry friends. “Finally home after 24 days on the road. The Livin’ Like Hippies Tour is well underway and I’m loving it! But I’m so thankful to be home for a few days with my babies! ?#furbabies #muttlove #roadlife.,” she captioned the post.
The Livin’ Like Hippies tour kicked off on January 18 with Jon Pardi and will pick up again on March 1 in Knoxville, Tenn.
Miranda hasn’t been shy about sharing her love of animals. She co-founded MuttNation in 2009 with her mom, Bev. The organization’s mission is to ensure that as many dogs as possible would have a safe and happy place to call home. Miranda and MuttNation started the “Fill the Little Red Wagon” campaign where they will collect dog food, treats, supplies & cash donations from fans for local shelters, during each stop of her tour.
“I always try to combine my two passions which are music & mutts,” Miranda said. “I’ve gotten to meet some amazing people that run shelters in the communities where we perform, and I always love connecting with other dog-loving fans.”
Reunited and it feels so good.
