Morgan Evans Debuts New Video For  “Kiss Somebody”

Morgan Evans was kissing somebody at his wedding to Kelsea Ballerini earlier this month but now the Australian country singer is back at work releasing his brand new video for his debut single, “Kiss Somebody.”

“SURPRISE! Felt so much love this week that I wanted to keep sharing it. Here is the Official Music Video for Kiss Somebody! Hope you dig! In the back of a cab or on a subway train … come on and #kisssomebody,” he wrote in two Instagram posts.

The debut video has Morgan performing as narrator taking us through the end of a successful date between two young lovers. While the date ends with a hug, there is a missed opportunity for a kiss as the couple go their separate ways. As they walk away, the guy realizes he cannot let the opportunity to pass him by and races back through the streets— all shot in slow motion—until he finally reaches the girl and plants a kiss on her.

“Sometimes you gotta kiss somebody / In the back of a cab or on a subway train / Sometimes you gotta kiss somebody / On a midnight street in the summer rain / If you’re wishing you were with somebody / ‘Cause you don’t wanna go home when it’s closin’ time / If you wanna kiss somebody / Baby, I got somebody in mind,” Morgan sings in the chorus.

“Kiss Somebody,” written by Morgan and Chris DeStefano, can be heard as Morgan hits the road on the Down Home Tour with Cole Swindell and later in the year when he jumps on Chris Young’s Losing Sleep Tour in April.
