Days after his arrest for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Morgan Wallen continues to make amends with his friends and family.
In case you missed it, Morgan found himself on the wrong side of the law after allegedly over- indulging on adult beverages and tapping into his rowdy country boy side while in downtown Nashville at Kid Rock’s bar. He immediately owned his behavior and issued an apology to his fans and commended local law enforcement for their professionalism.
Hey y’all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn't mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.

In his most recent post, Morgan thanks fans for their continued support, but also takes on the haters. He write, “Y’all have been so positive and encouraging to me the last few days. I just wanted to say it’s not going unnoticed. I appreciate ya more than you probably even know.
“There’s always gonna be haters. But my southern baptist raising takes me straight to John 8:7 . Love y’all.”

The scripture that Morgan refers to, John 8:7, reads: “When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ‘Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.’” (New International Version)
The majority of the comments on Morgan’s post are supportive of the artist, many claiming that it has happened to everyone, some commending him for taking responsibility for his actions, and a few marriage proposals.
In addition to the post on Twitter, Morgan also shared a new photo of himself to help erase the unflattering mug shot that is currently making its way around social media.
