It’s finally here! CMT has announced a date for the premiere of their one-hour drama, “Nashville.”
Stars Hayden Panettiere, who plays Juliette Barnes and Jonathon Jackson, who plays Avery Barkley, on the hit drama, took to Instagram to announce that the show will be returning on January 4th.
“Hey everybody, we’re so excited to be back with the new season of “Nashville” on Thursday …” Hayden started the announcement.
“…January four,” finished Jonathon.
Season 5, minus Rayna James played by Connie Britton, saw Juliette’s (Hayden Panettiere) feud with Maddie (Lennon Stella) come to head, Deacon (Chip Esten) in over his head trying to save the Highway 65 label, along with Rayna’s legacy and Scarlett (Clare Bowen) get dragged through the mud in the press.
In May 2016, ABC had cancelled the popular series that ran for four seasons. CMT saved the show by picking it up for Season 5, which kicked off in January 2017.
Season 6 will pick up where season 5 left off and we can find out what happens in the lives of Deacon, Juliette, Maddie, Avery and all their friends. In addition the show has added five new cast members, Josh Stamberg, Jake Etheridge, Rainee Lyleson, Nic Luken, and Dylan Arnold who will join the show in season six. We’ll just have to wait and see how they fit in with the “Nashville” community.
