The CMT drama “Nashville” may be gone but actor Sam Palladio, who played Gunnar Scott, is back with a brand new Christmas single called “Bring the Snow.” The song is currently featured in the Netflix holiday film “The Princess Switch,” in which Sam also stars.
“Thrilled to announce that my new Christmas single ‘Bring the Snow’ will be released worldwide,” Sam announced recently on Instagram. “I wrote the song for @netflix’ #ThePrincessSwitch and I can’t wait for you guys to hear it.”
In another post he adds, “Hope it brings you some good vibrations.”
The three-minute, upbeat holiday tune highlights Sam’s smooth vocals alongside delicate percussion, infectious backing vocals and driving guitar parts. Additional hand-clapped rhythms and vivid lyrics that depict the holiday season like gingerbread, mistletoe and snow, make this an instant seasonal classic.
“Baby bring the snow / We’ve got nowhere to go / Just you and me at home underneath the mistletoe / Fire’s burning gold / I’ve got you here to hold / Such a happy sound singing ‘Silent Night’ / Baby bring the snow,” he croons on the chorus.
Sam recently joined girlfriend Cassadee Pope during a performance in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame’s tree lighting ceremony. Cassadee was headlining a concert ahead of the tree lighting and invited her boyfriend up to share the stage and perform his new holiday song.
Cassadee previously raved about the song on her personal Instagram page. “This stud released a Christmas song that I can’t stop listening to,” she gushed.
The song is featured in the Netflix film “The Princess Switch,” available now. The film takes place one week before Christmas where a duchess (Vanessa Hudgens) switches place with a Chicago baker who looks exactly like her. The women then fall for each other’s beaus. Sam plays the prince.
