The First “Ryman Unplugged” Proves NEEDTOBREATHE Is Worth The Hype

-

The Grand Ole Opry is an institution that safeguards country traditions while looking to the future of the music industry. It bridge’s the past, present, and future in a single stage. Now, they will do that on their new YouTube channel, “Ryman Unplugged”, bringing up and coming artists to the birthplace of the Opry to play unplugged versions of their music.

NEEDTOBREATHE is their first featured artist playing their mournful “No Excuses.” The quartet walked into the empty Mother Church and set up around a vintage radio microphone as if they were broadcasting live WSM. They are best known for their bombastic live shows and rock-anthem sound but were no less powerful stripped down to an acoustic guitar and mini tambourine.

If you have not heard of NEEDTOBREATHE before, it’s about time you found out what everyone else already knows: they live up to every ounce of hype they’ve received.
