RaeLynn Combines Makeup and Music With New Digital Release, “Festival”

-

Announced as the new face of Too Faced cosmetics in October, RaeLynn is taking her duties to a new level by digitally releasing a song, “Festival,” that is very fitting for the collection.

A departure from acclaimed hits “God Made Girls” and “Love Triangle,” the new ultra-pop tune, written by RaeLynn and Josh Kerr, goes hand-in-hand with the sparkly, colorful, unicorn-themed that will be contained in the “Life’s A Festival” spring makeup collection.

We didn’t care what we looked like / dripping in sweat and desert vibes/ we didn’t care who was watching though / a cotton-candy makeout on the side of / a Ferris Wheel I was scared to ride / but I knew that I could do it with you by my side / We felt like VIPs in the back row / couldn’t keep from kissing getting glitter on your nose / when your body was holding me close / yeah it was magical / anything but typical / it was a hell of a sunset dream / you were all over me like we were seventeen / yeah it was magical / anything but typical / we fell in love / we fell in love at a festival,” RaeLynn kicks off the song.

“My love for Too Faced keeps growing and I can’t think of a better way to express that than through song,” said RaeLynn. “It was awesome to be back in the studio with Josh and I am super grateful for the opportunity to work with Kipp Williams (producer). I’m so excited the song is finally out and hope everyone can grab their Too Faced kits and jam out while they glam up!”

The Texas native is the first country artist chosen to represent the Too Faced collection, which includes Katy Perry, Francesca Eastwood and Ireland Baldwin. RaeLynn’s “Life’s A Festival” collection will be available Feb. 15 and contains a variety of makeup, including the Rainbow Strobe Highlighter and the Unicorn Tears Bronzer.
