When Blake Shelton was looking for friends to help round out his team during “The Voice’s” battle rounds, he chose experienced trio Rascal Flatts for the job.

“Little Big Town was booked, “Jay DeMarcus joked. The trio will join their friend in mentoring the acts on Team Blake as they prepare to sing against each other in a dueling duet.

“On this show in particular to see the growth in such a quick time period is amazing,” said Rooney.

Team Blake, which consists of Ryan Scripps, Red Marlow, Mitchell Lee, Dennis Drummond, Anna Catherine Dehart, Christie Hoopes, Esera Tuaolo, Rebecca Brunner, Noah Mac,Keisha Renee, Natalie Stovall and Adam Cunningham, couldn’t be more excited to see the trio lend a hand.

Gary Levox, he is the singing-est fool ever. He’s got more licks than a basket full of lollipops,” said Red Marlow upon finding out he’d be working with the guys.

Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney will lend their much needed experience and insight to Shelton and his team. The night is sure to be filled with comedic one liners from the four superstars.

“I got country and I’ve got pop and I needed some guidance this time around. So in order to get Joe Don, I had to invite the other two,” Shelton joked.

Rascal Flatts recently released their new single “Back To Us” from their 10th studio album. The follow up track to their back-to-back No. 1 hits, “Yours If You Want It” and “I Like The Sound Of That.”

You can catch the country trio on “The Voice” premiering Monday night (Oct. 16) at 8pm ET/ PT on NBC and continuing Oct. 17, Oct. 23 and Oct. 24.
