#TeamBlake’s Red Marlow Earns Spot on “The Voice” Playoffs With Incredible Performance of “Outskirts of Heaven”

In round 3 of knockouts on “The Voice,” Blake put two aspiring country artists up against each other and both performances were incredible.

Megan Rose took on Carrie Underwood’s “Smoke Break,” and it was amazing– but the coaches all thought she seemed a little nervous. Blake even said he thought this performance was a step back from what he saw in rehearsals.

Red Marlow sang Craig Campbell’s “Outskirts of Heaven,” and I’ll admit I wasn’t sure that he was going to be able to top Megan’s performance, but he had so much soul and passion, the entire audience was up on their feet.

I can’t wait to see Red’s performance in the playoffs. Regardless of the outcome, I have a good feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of Red (and I don’t hate that one bit).
