Keith Urban Plays “Bridge Over Troubled Water” During Nashville Vigil for Route 91 Harvest Shooting Victims


Mayor Megan Barry, Sarah Trahern, CEO of CMA and Butch Spyridon, President/CEO, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp hosted a vigil at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville to remember and honor the victims of the Las Vegas shooting during the Route 91 Harvest festival.

Keith Urban explained that telling his young daughters about the event was especially difficult before singing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” for the crowd.

Urban told his daughter, “they’re like family. It’s the one thing about country music that’s always been at the center of it is community– it’s about community.
