Russell Dickerson Played Two Songs On “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Including His First No. 1

Russell Dickerson has scored his first No. 1 hit with the title track from his recent album “Yours.” To celebrate, he visited Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform the track along with “Blue Tacoma.”

Dickerson performed the mini-concert as a part of the Mercedes Benz Concert Series. Listening to them back to back is fine, but nothing particularly stands out about either song. They’re buzzword milkshakes prioritizing trend of substance.

But, hey, if you like his music, check it out.

Two quick things I am having a difficult time moving past.

  1. That is almost certainly a women’s cardigan.
  2. Somehow, both Russell and Jimmy look like the other was an annoying fan forcing them to take this picture.
