Sara Evans Tells Us How Her Daughter Olivia Ended Up Singing On “Marquee Sign”

For her new album, Words, Sara Evans enlisted a young songstress.

“Marquee Sign“, which Sara co-wrote, is the first single from the project and it ends with some ooos and oohs. The songstress resides full-time in Birmingham, Alabama, so she wasn’t in Nashville for one long stretch to make the album. As luck would have it, she forgot to put the ooos and oohs on there herself. Her 14-year-old daughter, Olivia, came to the rescue.

“She wants to be a singer and she’s getting a lot of attention from this,” Sara told One Country. “She’s incredibly talented.”

Words is out on July 21.
