The holiday display includes hundreds of blue lights that will engulf the Graceland driveway as well as a life-size Nativity scene, and Santa and his sleigh, among other decorations, all originally displayed at the mansion by Elvis and the Presley family. The event is free and open to the public.
Following Scotty’s performance will be a screening for the world premiere of Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas At Graceland.” The film will be played on the Graceland Soundstage immediately following the lighting and is an invitation-only event.
The new holiday film was shot on location at Graceland and is filled with music made famous by Elvis. “Christmas At Graceland” stars 2018 Daytime Emmy Award nominee and country singer Kellie Pickler and Wes Brown (“True Blood”). It was directed by Eric Close (“Nashville”), who will be attendance at the screening with Wes.
The holiday lighting ceremony at Elvis Presley’s Graceland will begin at 6 p.m. CT on Nov. 15. The movie premiere will begin at 7 p.m. later that evening.
