Over the past 10 seasons of “The Voice,” I’ve seen a lot of incredible, impressive and memorable battle performances given — but none quite compare to the performance we just saw from Team Blake members Dan Shafer and Sundance Head.
Performing a soulful rendition of Bad Company’s “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” the two singers absolutely crushed it, leaving me, the audience and the judges at a standing ovation. Not only did they both perfectly showcase their own strengths, but they had undeniable chemistry and performed as though they’d been collaborating for years. It was truly mind-blowing.
After the performance, coach Blake Shelton was left with the heart-wrenching decision of choosing a winner. I honestly don’t know how he did it.
