Thomas Rhett loves covering Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places.” In fact, he does it often during his live shows, but rarely does he get to invite an A-list celebrity on stage to join him in the rowdy classic. Although, he does often invite people on stage. We even saw it once with our own eyes.

During a recent show in Iowa, TR got to invite local Hawkeye favorite, Ashton Kutcher, on stage to sing with him. The performance was so memorable, even Garth Brooks commented on it via Facebook, saying, “I think they were in Iowa or something. Of course, Thomas decides to invite Kutcher on stage and, of course what song are they gonna do?” He also went on to offer some career advice to Ashton, “Ashton, I don’t know what to say, brother, the guys in baseball always told me don’t quit your day job, but I don’t want to say that.”

We’ll say it. Don’t quit your day job, Ashton.
