After spending the summer playing the festival circuit and getting as much time in Nashville with newborn daughter Ada James and big sister Willa Gray, Thomas Rhett is back to headlining The Home Team Tour for the fall. It’s been exciting for TR to headline his own tour because he says, “This is our first year out headlining arenas, which is crazy to me because I feel like we got so good and used to being the middle slot. We got to play for 45 minutes and then got to go watch the headliner but this year that changed.”
But, when he’s not selling out arenas, he’s definitely playing Mr. Mom as much as possible. Most recently, TR shared a video from his car where he was celebrating getting both daughters into the car for the first time, “This is my first time ever bringing Willa Gray to school and getting Ada to the car. It was pretty hilarious. Pretty proud of myself.”
He’s also looking for some parenting advice, “if any of y’all parents out there know of any kind of like, pacifier that will just not fall out of a babies mouth, that would be the most amazing invention of all-time.”
If TR invented that he could probably quit touring all together and just retire off of pacifier money. His other big money parenting idea was in baby backpack design a few months ago.
It may have been his first time getting both girls into the car, but he has managed to get both girls and wife Lauren on the stage with him already.
And yes, he’s already got the total dad look down, too.
