Thomas Rhett Has Some Solid Advice For Gift-Giving as a Parent That We Can All Get Behind

There are few things more stereotypical than this parenting scenario: you give your kids a gift and they are more intrigued by the box than they are by the actual gift inside that you spent a significant amount of money on– and apparently, Thomas Rhett’s kids are no exception to this.

We caught up with TR about his Life Changes 2018 tour, and got to ask him how his Christmas was with his wife, Lauren, and his two daughters, Willa Gray and Ada James. He said Christmas was great, but he learned a little lesson this year to pass on to other parents:

“I learned that you don’t have to buy your two-year-old any gifts,” he said. “Give her wrapping paper and she’ll be just as happy.”
