While Thomas Rhett has already done really well with sentimental love songs, his third album, Life Changes,, is already proving just how many life changes he’s actually been through. Rhett’s newest release from the album, “Grave” was written by Chris DeStefano (“Something In The Water,” “Kick the Dust Up”), Hillary Lindsey (“Girl Crush,” “Blue Ain’t Your Color”), and Josh Miller, but his delivery is sincere and of course, anyone who follows him knows this is his story.

Rhett co-wrote 10 of the 14 tracks on the album, but when he heard “Grave” he knew it was for him, “”it just felt so authentic to me I had to put it on.” Fans will probably agree.

You’re my forever
My slice of heaven on this side of the Mississippi River, baby
You’re my infinity, no end to you and me come hell, fire, or rain
Baby, nothin’ can change it
No, nothin’ can change it
You’re my destiny, you’ll always be with me
Today, tomorrow, all the way to eternity, baby
No last breathe taken on this earth
No concrete tombstone, no amount of dirt can change it
No, nothin’ can change it

[Chorus] When the good Lord calls me home and this life is through
I may be six feet deep, but I’ll still be lovin’ you
Baby, what we got won’t ever die
Can’t take diamonds, can’t take gold
But I’ll take your love with me when I go
I’m gonna take it to the grave with me
To the grave with me, to the grave with me
To the grave, to the grave with me
To the grave with me, to the grave with me
To the grave, to the grave, to the grave with me
To the grave with me, to the grave with me
To the grave, to the grave, to the grave with me
To the grave with me, to the grave with me
To the grave, to the grave, to the grave with me
