Thomas Rhett’s NFL Halftime Show Was Incredible And Served A Good Cause

-

Thomas Rhett had to work on Thanksgiving, but he wasn’t too upset about it. Rhett lit uo the stage during halftime of the Cowboy’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers with a medley of his hits. But it was more than a great show. Rhett’s performance kicked off The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign. Playing music and helping those in need isn’t a bad way to use a holiday.

Rhett played parts of “Craving You,” “T-Shirt,” and “Unforgettable” alongside the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders on the red Salvation Army stage. For a minute, Rhett let Cowboys fans forget how badly they were playing. That is a feat.

The performance kicks off The Salvation Army’s global Red Kettle fundraising event. Most of the funds raised during the holidays in those little red kettles support the organization’s efforts year round.
