Thomas Rhett’s brand new video for the super sweet and sexy “Star Of the Show” is unlike almost any other video he’s ever done. And unlike the song, the video doesn’t actually star his wife, Lauren.

The video follows TR as he walks through all of the places Lauren has ever stolen the spotlight from him, “… captured that feeling I get when Lauren walks into a room no matter where we are and the spotlight completely turns to her. The song was sped up double-time to get to point A to point B and there were a lot of moving parts we had to execute perfectly for the video to make sense. We literally got it in the last take of the shoot.”

The video was directed by TK McKamy and was shot in one un-edited take. Each time Thomas was in a spot where Lauren took on the title, his motions come to a halt.

It’s definitely unique, but I think we can all agree that this video needs more Lauren.

“Star of the Show” is off of Thomas’ newly released Tangled Up Deluxe album, which also features a new remix of the CMA, ACM and Billboard Music Award-winning “Die A Happy Man,” featuring Tori Kelly.
