Trisha Yearwood’s Version of “Santa Baby” Had Just the Right Amount of Fun and Flirtatiousness Needed

-

The stars came out last night (Nov. 27) for the CMA Country Christmas special to kick off the holidays.

While Reba took the hosting reins of the show, it also featured an all-star lineup including Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, CB30, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Reba, CeCe Winans, Trisha Yearwood and Chris Young, performing some of our favorite Christmas classics.

While Trisha did a bang up job belting out “Hard Candy Christmas,” it was “Santa Baby” that brought out her fun and flirtatious side. After all the song, calls for just the right amount. And for those that know Trisha, she has a wicked sense of humor and played the part just right.

With lyrics like “Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree for me / been an awful good girl / Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight,” how could you not have fun. And can’t ya just picture Garth dressed as Santa, hurrying down the chimney?

In case you missed the special, you can get in the Christmas mood by listening to Trisha’s spot on version of “Santa Baby.”
And by the way, there are only 27 shopping days left until Christmas.
