Shortly before the release of his debut album, boom, on December 8, newcomer Walker Hayes is announcing his own 13-city tour, aptly-titled Good As Gold Tour.

The name of the tour comes from a line in his current Top 15 single, “You Broke Up With Me,” that has the father of six (soon to be seven) crooning, “Woah girl, simmer on down a notch / Ain’t nobody making you watch me get my forget you on / No girl, can’t touch my good as gold / I know it’s difficult to see me on a roll / But hey, you broke up with me.”

“I am so humbled by folks wanting to see this live that we can do this,” said Walker. “I’m so honored to have so many supporters – from my peers to the industry to Country radio – on this crazy journey with me. You all have absolutely changed my life.”

The tour will kick off next year on Feb. 1 in Uncasville, Connecticut and will take the young singer though cities such as Pittsburgh, Indiapapolis, Cleveland and Boston.
