Zac Brown Band’s Clay Cook and Wife Brooke Expecting Second Child

Congratulations to Zac Brown Band’s Clay Cook and his wife Brooke, who are expecting their second child.

No details yet on whether they are expecting a boy or a girl, the new baby will turn the family of three into a family of four, joining big brother Charles Robert, who was born in Nov. 2016.

The band and Clay both took to Instagram the share the good news, along with an image of the expecting family reading the oh so apropos, “Berenstein Bears New Baby.”

“Our book-loving kid has a new favorite. I think it’s safe to say he’s pretty excited about this one, Clay wrote in the caption. “So happy to announce that Charlie has a sibling coming this summer! We couldn’t feel more lucky to be growing our family.”

“Congrats to the Cook’s on the #newbaby!” ZBB posted.

The new baby will have a little playmate her own age when she hits the road with daddy because fellow band member Coy Bowles and his wife Kylie are expecting a baby girl, due in spring 2018.

The news comes right at the time when the Zac Brown Band is nominated for a 2018 Grammy Awards in the Best Country Duo/ Group Performance category, for “My Old Man.” The group will be up against, Brothers Osborne, “It Ain’t My Fault;” Lady Antebellum, “You Look Good;” Little Big Town, “Better Man;” and Midland,”Drinkin’ Problem.” The winner will be revealed at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards show on January 28 on CBS.
