After 15 seasons of “American Idol,” we’ve seen a lot of talent come through that audition room. From the show’s first winner Kelly Clarkson to country superstar Carrie Underwood to soulful powerhouse Jennifer Hudson, we have “American Idol” to thank for some of music’s biggest talents.

As the legendary show comes to an end, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite “Idol” moments since its debut in 2002.

10 Best “American Idol” Moments Ever:

1. Kelly Clarkson‘s Season 1 Audition

Kelly sang Madonna and totally crushed it.

2. Bo Bice Singing “In a Dream”

He did it a cappella and left us all awestruck.

3. Sherman Pore’s Season 6 Audition

His wife had just passed away and he came on the show to sing for her.

Tears.

4. Jennifer Hudson Singing “Circle of Life”

Jennifer could literally sing a McDonald’s menu and we would listen.

5. Phillip Phillips Singing “Volcano”

Swoon.

And then there was “Home” which took the world by storm.

6. When We Met Scotty McCreery

The 16-year-old with the deep voice.

7. Adam Lambert‘s “Ring of Fire” Performance

Adam sure knows how to capture an audience’s attention.

And those high notes — damn.

8. Haley Reinhart’s Sultry “House of the Rising Sun”

Haley was somehow passed over in the previous season, but she blew everyone away during season 10.

9. Casey Abrams’ Jaw-Dropping Audition

No one expected that.

He also performed “Fat Bottom Girls” with Jack Black. Who could forget that?

10. Carrie Underwood Singing “Inside Your Heaven”

This song still rules.
