That’s a stressful, high-drama situation. These morning shows are are the perfect fodder for a TV comedy-drama. Well, praise be to the TV gods, because Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have recently been tied to a series focusing on the NYC media scene as both actors and producers.
The yet-unnamed project is packed with prestige firepower. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Witherspoon is actively involved in the development of the show alongside Academy Award nominee Steve Kloves (“Wonder Boys”, “Harry Potter”) and writer Jay Carson (“House of Cards”).
Reports suggest that they show may land on HBO or Netflix and will be a heavy balance of drama and comedy.
Witherspoon and Aniston have not co-starred in a show since Witherspoon guest starred on “Friends” as Aniston’s spoiled little sister seventeen years ago. The two have remained close friends ever since and Aniston has joked that she still considers Witherspoon her little sister.
