This Interview with Arie Luyendyk Jr. is Almost As Painful as Watching a Full Episode of “The Bachelor”

i’ve been watching “The Bachelor” as long as it’s been on television (242 years, give or take a few months). I did take a break once a few years ago because I just couldn’t stomach it, but mostly– I always know what’s going on.

Out of all 368 seasons, the current season of the show with Arie Luyendyk Jr. is by far the most painful thing I’ve ever watch on TV. Or it was, until I saw this interview.

Arie sat down with “Access” where he said things like:

  • “I’m really happy.”
  • “It’s a little dramatic.”
  • “Going into it, well, I was expecting to fall in love, but I didn’t know if I would and when it, it made me happy,”
  • “The ending was hard for me.”
  • “I’m happy now.”
ABC should just paint a wall and let us watch it dry.
